ACOUSTIC QUILTING - New to our Acoustic Materials products the ‘Eco Green’ Acoustic Quilting now compliments our popular range of Acoustic Barrier & Screening Solutions.
NoiseAir and associates have recently supplied an environmentally friendly acoustic barrier sited for our clients, Fairholme Proprietary School. The Acoustic Screen in its Eco green colour surrounds two sides of the school sports area and helps to reduce generated noise from school play activity previously affecting local neighbours. This particular colour of the acoustic quilting, which is new to the quilting range has both a pleasing aesthetic appearance in ‘eco geen’ and blends in with the Astra Turf playground and surrounding area whilst minimising noise levels.

HOME STUDIO BUILD PROJECT
Our client wanted to build a home studio to be used for band practice, including drums, and her priority was not to become a noise nuisance to her neighbour! In order to achieve maximum results we recommended an initial site survey where we conducted a series of noise measurements to the proposed room area.We recommended that a 'room in a room' type studio be constructed, which would also need to be double walled and fully sealedwithventilation. Our client thankfully contacted us at the project design stage... so important, and by doing this we were not only able to make our recommendations but able to work alongside the builder too!
Quite often as Acoustic Consultants we are called in AFTER building work has been completed only to find that a bit of foam stuck to an adjoining wall... unfortunately will not work!!

ALDER HEY CHILDREN'S NHS FOUNDATION TRUST
I'm writing on behalf of all the volunteers here at the Alder Centre to thank you and your team for the great job you did recently in providing soundproofing for our Child Death Helpline office. I have had nothing but positive feedback from those who take calls on the helpline; everyone agrees it's a much more professional environment to work in now and the noise crossing over when two calls come in at once has been greatly reduced. This enables our volunteers to give their full concentration to the call they're taking without worrying about disturbing their colleague or being disturbed by them. You will appreciate this is a great help considering the sensitive nature of the calls we receive.
