With over 25 years of experience in acoustic studio design & construction we offer a professional turn-key service from design through to manufacture and installation of quality acoustic booths, recording studios and music practice rooms. We have built up a good reputation with our many clients including architects, schools & colleges, professional recording studios and individuals looking to purchase a music practice room or a garden studio as a small home project. Whether large or small we treat all projects with the same priority & importance.
We have carried out numerous studio build & refurbishment projects and our clients include: De Montfort University Music Technology Dept, Burton College of FE & The Robert Smythe School to name but a few.
The Modular Panelled Studio System (Room within a Room)
Our isolated acoustic booths or ‘room within a room' are constructed using a durable modular steel panel design, offering excellent acoustic performance and giving a high transmission loss. Our booths offer quick and easy installation and being fully isolated do not require any conventional builders work and will not interfere with any existing structure. We offer a full turn-key service from design through to installation of your new recording studio project, alternatively, many of our clients wish to undertake installation independently and as such we are happy to supply materials only including all fixings, drawing &instructions. Due to the nature of the construction we would recommend this should employ a two person installation team.
Our standard booths and music practice rooms are manufactured in various sizes and utilise a 50mm acoustic panel system, a ceiling, an acoustic door and acoustic vision panel. These booths have proved very popular with our many clients and offer a quality steel panelled structure whilst also being keenly priced to suit all budgets.
If you require anything a little different to our standard sound booths that’s no problem, we are able to offer custom design & manufacture to suit your specific needs. You may wish to add one or a combination of any of the following:
- Double panelled wall design system when there is a need for more noise reduction
- Custom sizes and configuration
- A choice of colour finishes to the internal wall
- Single or multi pod installations to form a suite of music practice rooms
- A floating floor system to reduce structural borne vibration
